So that’s a picture of me in my office on my 50th birthday. In my 40s I decided to get serious about my writing, which led to publishing a series of four contemporary fantasy novels and a companion cook & spell book.

Getting the rights back to my books from the original publisher lead to my partner keifel and I starting our own micro-press, 1000Volt Press, to publish my books and other books we’d like to see in the world.

And because giving money to traditional advertisers made my eye twitch, I decided to start a podcast, WitchLit, to chat with other authors writing in the witchy, occult, and magical spaces of fiction and nonfiction.

And here we are, exploring new spaces in social media and online publishing, hoping to connect with readers (and listeners) interested in the same weird things out here on the fridges of niche publishing and podcasting. Thanks for joining me.
